Curved Bench Seating – Hertfordshire

A client approached us to manufacture and install curved bench seating for their offices in Hertfordshire. After reviewing the drawings and a 3D model of their concept, we visited the site to gather additional details and prepare a detailed cost estimate.

Upon receiving the go-ahead, our bench joiner created a rod to determine the correct radii for the project. With this in place, our skilled joiner cut the curved components, including ribs, to form the carcass of the seating. The curved faces were then lined with plywood. The final step involved crafting various oak slats, which the client requested to be arranged in a random pattern when attached to the curved seating.

Once the curved bench seating was completed, we made templates and brought them to our local upholster, who produced bespoke cushions. After the cushions were ready, we scheduled the installation with our client.
