Here at Nightingale Joinery, we can proudly say we are one of the few companies in the UK with the proficient knowledge and experience to produce curved and wreathed staircases. Ranging from traditional to contemporary, straight to curved, manufacturing handcrafted bespoke staircases is one of our specialities.

Our History
Established in 2007 by Paul Baker and Deirdre Jennings, Nightingale Joinery started out as a small but skilled team with collectively over 40 years of experience in both the construction and joinery manufacturing industries. Our aim was simple, to produce top quality bespoke joinery to both the domestic and commercial market.
Over the last decade or so we have gone from strength to strength (even during the economic downturn of 2008). We now have a team of dedicated and highly skilled joiners and fitters. Our team are meticulous in their approach and totally focused on customer satisfaction.
We support and strongly advocate the training of apprenticeship joiners, having had 3 young men complete their apprenticeships in joinery with us to date. We pride ourselves in keeping alive the traditional skills of the past whilst producing quality work for the future.
I am very pleased to say that our original goal of producing high quality joinery to the commercial and domestic market has been achieved. We have completed many high value and high quality contracts and will continue to do so for many years to come.
We are also committed to caring for the environment. All the timber products we use are sourced only from suppliers who meet the requirements of FSC and PEFC. All the timber we use therefore comes from sustainable managed forests. All timber waste products from the workshop are recycled and used for fuel for the workshop heating system.
Health and Safety both within the workshop and on site is very important to us and we always ensure that we maintain very high standards. We are regularly audited by independent outsourced H&S Consultants. They help us to ensure that we are up to date on all the latest legislative developments. All our joiners and fitters have regular H&S training and hold appropriate CSCS cards.
Going forward we will continue to put you, our customers, first. Whether you require a basic window or a detailed period staircase, you can rest assured that we will offer you a totally bespoke and superior quality product and service.
